Question this guide answers

Finish preparation before deciding to send a listing to Etsy.

Target reader

Etsy sellers and teams reviewing and publishing multiple listings in sequence.

1. Follow the status of each listing

Check the target shop, draft, profile, and images for each listing.

Check whether a listing is ready, waiting, sending, complete, or has an error. Wait for results to load before deciding an operation is complete.

2. Run a final check before publishing

Check required listing fields, your shop connection, images, profile settings, and available credits.

Fix an incomplete listing before sending. If one listing fails, check the status of the others individually.

3. Approve and send your listing

Review prepared listings as drafts first. After finishing your checks, approve sending them to Etsy.

Check for completion after sending. If the operation is still running, wait for its result before sending again.

4. Correct the cause of an error

Reconnect your shop for permission issues and correct missing or invalid listing details. For a temporary service error, check the operation status before trying again.

If the issue continues, share the error message and operation time with support. Do not include passwords or private login information.

After a temporary service error, an action can be retried up to three times, with a wait between attempts.Automatic retries require the publishing service to be enabled. Retrying cannot resolve every error.
